The Universal Exposition or Expo (short for "exposition"), also known as the World Fair and World's Fair, is the name given to various large public exhibitions held since the mid-19th century. They are the third largest event in the world in terms of economic and cultural impact after the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games.

The Atomium is a monument built for Expo '58, the 1958 Brussels World's Fair.

The first Expo was held in The Crystal Palace in Hyde Park, London, in 1851 under the title “Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations”.

The Skyneedle is a prominent feature of the Brisbane skyline which was constructed especially for World Expo 88.

The Exposition Universelle of 1889 was a World's Fair held in Paris, France from May 6, to October 31, 1889.The main symbol of the Fair was the Eiffel Tower, which was completed in 1889, and served as the entrance arch to the Fair.

Unisphere is a 12-story high, spherical stainless steel representation of the Earth.
The Unisphere, commissioned to celebrate the beginning of the space age, was conceived and constructed as the Theme Symbol of the 1964/1965 New York World's Fair.

  4. Indeed, these are the structures built for World Fairs (Universal Exposition).

The structures are (in clockwise order) Atomium, Crystal Palace, Skyneedle, Eiffel Tower, and Unisphere.

“World Fair” is the name given to various large public exhibitions held since the mid-19th century. They are the third largest event in the world in terms of economic and cultural impact after the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games.
They have been organized for more than one and a half centuries — longer than both the (modern) Olympic Games and the World Cup.

The first Expo was held in The Crystal Palace in Hyde Park, London, in 1851 under the title “Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations”.

Congratulations to Pooja, Prat and Ashaya for getting it exactly right.
